Community meetings: we were in Smithers on May 3rd and 4th, Prince George on May 25th and in Vancouver on May 31st and June 1st all of these meetings were all for TRM (treaty related measures) TRM is free money’s that is given to the first nations by the Canadian Government, for the first nations to work on their treaties without having to pay back any of this money.


Digitization: we went to Vancouver on May 11th for a digitization course that was held at the Museum of Anthropology of the University of British Columbia. It was a good course, we learned a lot about digitization and we also learned about other anthropology work. The instructors were very friendly and very informative.


Lawyers and Consultants: we met with our lawyer George Nicholson and his assistant GIS tech John Munro, Karyn Sharp and Lisa Krebs of Central Interior Consulting LTD. We preparing for the youth conference that we will be holding in the middle of June. And we went back to Burns Lake with George and John and we shared some information that was at the treaty office.


Presentation: We did a presentation at the Lakes District Secondary School; we gave them an update on what we have been doing at the treaty office.


Research: Roger Patrick and I were in Vancouver from May 28th to May 30th to do some more research for our specific claims.
We also did some work with the needs of the community and Council, giving out information and maps, information that is confidential. Well that concludes my report, Thank You for your time.
