Roger Patrick– Indigenous Planning Facilitator

During our training and workshops,  we have located a lot of information through out the past month.  Several books were found, books of authors that were in the Babine Lake area within the years of 1890-1950. These books have some sources of information that pertains to our to our traditional territories, genealogy land base.
It is important to find out who and where our ancestors have been working with on their lands, tradition, cultural how they occupied their whole land base who and how they are related too. How access was given to those of not from out nation.

June 24-26, 2014 -  Youth conference was an excellent turn out I really enjoyed those 3 days as years go by it would be bigger and better. What did we do those 3 days is what were doing within our LBNT community meetings. Also within our Treaty Related Measures (TRM) meetings without the presentations, of each lawyer, researchers, manage point of view. We have been doing this since January of 2014.

Since been back in the office all we been working is Prince George community meeting transcription, Fort Babine community meeting transcription, Vancouver meeting transcription, Smithers meeting transcription.
Hopefully this year fishing season would be a better year as some of LBNT staff will be booking Holidays start next few weeks. At our last trip to Victoria throughout our last findings of 28 boxes of information on survey lands within the Babine lake area these would still to be shorted out.
